Pulhams expanding management team to fuel continued network growth

Pulhams has launched a recruitment campaign for new management roles, created to support the company’s ongoing expansion.

The business is investing in enhancing its leadership team following a period of growth and plans to further grow its bus and coach network in Cheltenham and across Gloucestershire.

It follows Go-Ahead Group’s acquisition of Pulhams via Oxford Bus Group in 2023 and more recently of Swanbrook Transport. Over the past 12 months, Pulhams has invested in expanding its network, improving its fleet and technology, and developing its team.

The roles available include assistant operations manager, human resources and payroll administrator, private hire lead, compliance co-ordinator and service delivery supervisors.

Alex Chutter, Area Director for Pulhams, said: “This is the next step in our investment in our expansion designed to continually improve our services and fleet to make bus and coach travel as accessible and attractive as possible.

“There are several exciting roles available for internal and external candidates to help strengthen our team.”

Bus and coach drivers and vehicle technician roles are also available within the current recruitment campaign.

Gloucestershire-based Pulhams was established in 1880 and operates bus and coach routes in the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, as well as being the area’s premier coach hire provider.

Pulhams is part of its Oxford Bus Group portfolio of operating companies owned by the Go-Ahead Group, which also consists of Oxford Bus Company, Thames Travel, Carousel Buses and City Sightseeing Oxford.
