From 1st January 2025, the Government’s National Bus Fare Cap of £2 for Single tickets changes to a £3 cap. Pulhams will continue to participate in the scheme to keep Single tickets capped to £3, although from this date many of our fares will be cheaper than this.
From this date, we’ve reviewed the Single and Return fares we charge on our local bus services to make sure they offer fair prices for our customers’ journeys. We’ve also changed the way we calculate Return fares and the cost of Child tickets to ensure these are consistent. Our comprehensive range of longer period tickets, including Day tickets, multi-trip tickets and longer duration passes available on the Pulhams app continue to offer great value for those using the bus more frequently.
From the same date, we’re making a small number of changes to our ticketing range. The price of our Cheltenham&GloucesterZone tickets are revised as follows:
On our app | From the driver | |
Adult 1 Day | £5 | £5.50 |
Adult 1 Week | £19 | £20 |
Adult 4 Week | £70 | - |
Adult 12 Trip | £30 | - |
Adult any 5 days | £20 | - |
Child / Young Person 1 Day | £3.50 | £4 |
Child / Young Person 1 Week | £14 | £15 |
Child / Young Person 4 Week | £50 | - |
Child / Young Person 12 Trip | £19.50 | - |
Child / Young Person any 5 days | £15 | - |
Group 1 Day | £11.50 | £12 |
As before, Child tickets are available from the driver and Young Person (18 & Under) tickets are available on the Pulhams app.
We’ve also withdrawn some less well used tickets from sale to help keep our range of products as straightforward as possible for customers:
- Adult and Young Person 1 Week and 4 Week ‘Point-to-Point’ tickets available from the driver on services 19, 606 & X9 are withdrawn. The Pulhams app offers a fantastic range of flexible ticket options covering travel on these routes and beyond. Existing tickets will continue to be accepted until their expiry.
- Through Tickets will no longer be available on Pulhams services apart from routes 832 and 855.
