Great value tickets across the Cotswolds and beyond!
To coincide with the launch of the new Pulhams app, we’ve changed the way we offer tickets for one day and longer periods across Pulhams local bus services. We continue to participate in the Government’s national bus fare cap, so single and return tickets will continue to be capped at £2 and £4 respectively (current exclusions will continue to apply).
Our bus services now fall into one of three fare zones – Cheltenham&GloucesterZone, CotswoldZone or CountryZone. You can find out where these zones cover by checking our new Network Maps, or see below for more information on each.
Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel’s South Oxfordshire Zone was expanded from November 2023 to include Pulhams services operating in the West of Oxfordshire (15/19/64/68/X9). This ticket was rebranded to CountryZone and continues to cover the same geographic area and services as it did previously*, but this new name gives a better description of the area of validity now that this product includes travel to Chipping Norton, Witney and Carterton, as well as locations outside Oxfordshire such as Newbury, Reading and Swindon.

There is the option to purchase tickets for 1 Day, 1 Week, 4 Week, as well as bundles of 12 Trips and Any 5 Days for travel anywhere across the Zone – perfect for those making regular journeys between Cotswold towns and villages, connecting with rail services at Moreton-in-Marsh, Kingham or Cheltenham, or for visitors exploring Bourton-on the-Water, Broadway or Stratford-upon-Avon. 1 Day and 1 Week tickets will be available to purchase on the bus, with the full range available on the new Pulhams app.

We’re proud to now be operating more local services in and around Cheltenham and Gloucester and so to give our customers travelling in and between the two towns more flexible ticket options, we’ve introduced the new Cheltenham&GloucesterZone. Like the CotswoldZone, you can purchase 1 Day, 1 Week, 4 Week, 12 Trips and Any5Day tickets for travel anywhere across the Zone. 1 Day and 1 Week tickets are available to purchase on the bus, with the full range available on the new Pulhams app. A map of where this ticket covers is available on the Network Maps page.
